LSE-Oxford Seminar series: the macroeconomic impact of coronavirus

In the recently launched LSE-Oxford joint seminar  titled 'Insights from development studies of the impact of Covid-19'. Prof Xiaolan Fu and Ben Radley of the LSE discussed the macro economic impact of the pandemic on the global economy.

Prof Fu's presentation covered several topics such as the impact of the pandemic on global value chains and global trade and its impact on developing countries. She proposed three three policy choices available to countries including developing new value chains in the digital sector, in healthcare and in the green economy.
