Giacomo Zanello is currently a lecturer in Food Economics and Health at the University of Reading and a LCIRAH fellow

His work has been concentrated on effort to understand how agriculture, food, nutrition, and health interact in low- and middle- income countries

Previously he was a research fellow at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine supporting the work of the Global Panel on Agriculture and Food Systems for Nutrition in its commitment to tackling global challenges in food and nutrition security.

From 2012 to 2015 he was a research officer with the TMCD supporting research on the diffusion of innovations in low-income countries
